A reusable Viton oil pan gasket for the Honda and Acura J-Series V6 — built for racers and engine builders who drop the oil pan often and don’t want to wait on silicone.
From the factory there’s no gasket here: the pan seals to the block with RTV, so every time it comes off you’re scraping old sealant, laying down a fresh bead, and waiting hours for it to cure before you can fill it and run. Between rounds, during a bearing check, or at any teardown, that cure time is just dead time.
This gasket does away with it. Bolt the pan back on and go — no cure, no wait, no mess. Because it’s Viton, it reseals through repeated pan removals instead of being scraped off and re-laid every time, so it stands up to teardown after teardown. It’s reusable, not permanent — check it whenever the pan is off and replace it once it shows wear — but you’ll get plenty of removals out of one before then. And there’s no RTV squeeze-out trapped inside the pan to break loose and clog your oil pickup.
